On Thursday 4th September, Musician Alien Skin also known as Patrick Mulwana, attacked the National Unity Platform headers in Makerere Kavule Kampala accompanied by a group of goons who allegedly held arrows.
Witnesses say these Fangone goons pointed the arrows at NUP supporters, a move which immediately sparked commotion among the foot soldiers of the National Unity Platform and these goons.
At that time there were security officers from the Uganda police force who had been deployed to man NUP offices. They had to intervene violently, dispersing supporters and leaving several injured.
Alien skin was heading to a press conference in Bwayise Kampala for a concert, Ekyepukulu organized by legendary events and music promoter Abitex.
After the incident, several people including leaders, bloggers and other Ugandans warned Alien Skin to avoid attacking NUP offices, giving Sipapa as an example who did the same during the 2021 election campaigns. Sipapa is currently in prison on charges of robbery.
